  Manganese(II) sulfate monohydrate may be used to assist the oxidation of arenes and sulfides by potassium permanganate.^[4]

  General description

  Manganese(II) sulfate monohydrate (MnSO₄·H₂O) is a hydrated manganese salt. The neurological response caused in rhesus monkeys due to MnSO₄ exposure have been studied.^[1] The limiting molar conductance and association constant of MnSO₄ dissolved in aqueous N,N-dimethylformamide have been determined.^[2] The solubility, binary interaction parameters and solubility parameters were obtained for aqueous solution containing manganese sulfate monohydrate and magnesium sulfate.^[3]
